The comp will be called the thursday night prior dependant on the forecast and details posted on this site
Expression session style format for the social comp and a couple of heats, semis and a final for the open division (dependant on numbe of entries).
This is about participation and an opportunity to see some of the best wave sailors around battle it out so get a long if you can.
If you have some time spare on the day help with judging would be appreciated.
Dont forget to set aside Friday the 16th of September for the Severne Launch and State Titles trophy presentation at the Seacliff and Brighton Yacht Club - should be a good night for all windsurfing crew whether your into flat water blasting, bump and jump or wavesailing (Pete from Onboard will update details soon)

This weekend was the first of the weekends for the event (27 / 28).
We will post something Thursday night / Friday morning
Sunday is a slight chance for Middleton with a building swell (3-5 foot) as per Swellnet and wnw winds - they will update this wednesday
We will wait and see how things pan out - keep an eye on the forum - and we will update via ssaws2008@hotmail.com for anyone thats on the distribution list for wave events and on this forum

very tempting! im sure everyone will be down there any way!! lets just hope to get some good waves!
Hi all - after major deliberations the competition is on hold this weekend (27th/28th) due to forecasts.
There may be a bit of wind some time during the day but it its too sketchy to call and have everyone sitting around waiting.
Hope you all get some waves - crew are heading to beachport if anyone is keen as well

The long range swell forecast on magic seaweed is only predicting 1ft at middleton next weekend.
