Hi All

Does anyone know where I can get some rubber washers (northenrish area preferably) or the type of industry I need to be looking ?. This is for my fin bolts.

Thanks :)

Hi J,

Give United Fasteners a call, they can get anything. They are good for 316SS also.

54 Cavan Rd, Cnr Duncan
Road, Dry Creek, SA 5094
PH:(08) 8360 4622

OR, like me you can just make your own with a wad punch set and an offcut of neoprene rubber...that way you can make the ID tighter on the screw so they don't fall off.

Cheers, Tim

I generally just wash my rubbers at home

Hi Tim. That United Fastners place is a distributor by the looks. I went in there a year ago to buy some bolts and the salesman said they sell boxes not pieces. This box was a 1000 bolts (I wanted 10).

I might try buying some rubber from Clark rubber and just cutting them out with side cutters. Good thinking. Thanks

Go to Bunnings and look in the tap section
They have all sorts of rubber washers there in various sizes in small packets

Hi J,
I wasn't sure if you could go there without and account. We buy a lot of SS gear from them for work but I have never seen the place. Coventry fasteners if you can wait will be the other option(might be a $10 min for cash sales) or the plumbing section of your local HW as darkplague suggested.
Cheers, Tim.
