The Robe Easter Classic is on!
WindsurfingSA will be holding The Robe Easter Classic this year in conjunction with the Kite crew (SAKSA) as well as the SA SUP crew (yet to be confirmed)
Here are the basic details of what the weekend will entail,
Easter is Friday 3rd April till the Monday 6th April
Robe is about three and half hours SE of Adelaide
Competition will be either at 1st Ramp or 3rd Ramp carparks (or Beachport if conditions are optimal)
You MUST be a member of Windsurfing SA (or SAKSA for the kiters) to compete - this covers your insurance. Registration for Windsurfing SA is $35
Registration for the event is $30 - this gets you entry into the event, covers trophies and sausage sizzles throughout weekend as well as venue hire for the Sunday night presentation night.
Registration and briefing will be held at 3rd Ramp on Friday 10am sharp
Membership link - http://wsa.roundtablelive.org/page-947910
Ideally we would like you to be registered prior to the event, so if you could look after that prior to coming down that would be helpful.
Friday - registration and briefing, possible Windsurfing and Kiting competition - sausage sizzle
Saturday - Windsurfing and Kiting competition - sausage sizzle
Sunday - Windsurfing and Kiting competition - 7pm presentation night (venue to be confirmed)
Monday - Chill out
If there is no wind, we will have a fun (SUP) surf comp.
Lots of accommodation options still available on Stayz, Ottoson Real Estate and SAL RealEstate - all have holiday accommodation options.

A quick update on this years Robe Easter Classic 2015,
We have had some great support from some of our suppliers, with Onboard, Cabrinha, JP Australia, Neil Pryde and FSR all chipping in with some cash and prizes for the event.
We also have a new supporter of the event, Holidays of Australia, who have donated 2 @ $250 travel vouchers that we will use for prizes on the presentation nights festivities on the Sunday night,
Make sure your membership is up to date, preferably before you come down next week. I am also trying to get a link set up to pay for the event ($30), so those who want to enter can register prior to coming down,
If you are interested, we are having a Windsurfing SA meeting at the Hilton Hotel at Mile End tonight to discuss the event and last minute organising, so if you are keen to get involved, come along for a beer / Schnitzel and a chat, starting at 6.30 sharp,
Yours in wind,
Make sure your a member before this weekend. You can check if you have registered here:
