Sounds good for thursday but will it dissapoint? This sunny gorgeous weather is just a bit much ,I feel like I'm back in QLD being lulled into windsurfing complacency

Mid coast may be OK - tides coming in from mid morning - if a bit NNW try three poles between seaford and U turns might be a slight chance and not quite as affected by tide - just look out for fin rock on the inside- look at the swell net and surf south oz cams - may be a little light though.

Tomorrow's lookin choice - some snapper blasting from 1400hrs is on the cards for me.

Tomorrow - please don't disappoint us Huey!

Why Huey why?

I pray to the wind gods, ritual sacrifice, drinking goats blood and the like and all the otehr things you ask of a poor little windsurfer. I see a glimmer of hope... is that a green arrow? I rig and run down to the waters edge and alas you take it all away. Teasing on the edge, just enough to make me stand on the beach for half an hour talking to a teabager saying it might come, it might come, but no it was never here.

What is a poor boy to do when tomorrow is work and away with wifey on the weekend.

No wonder I drink so much

I was thinking of you today, all rigged up and knowhere to sail! I nearly did the same thing, sickie and sail, no wind anywhere before the front, was a bit of a puff at Goolwa, so my sources say!

Early Saturday morning? Can you do it?

What serious windsurfer organises stuff on weekends with the wife anyway?

Nah fairs fair Dave, what you mean is; you were smart enough to pick a wife that wants to windsurf on a 14 degree saturday morning in the hail as much as you do....

With everyone getting excited about wind I will make the trip to Goolwa and check things out.

To make it all worthwhile I will bring down some Maui Sails for everyone to demo.

So here's your chance! let me know what gear you would like to demo in what sizes and we will see you in the morning.

Just confirm where and when so we don't miss each other.

Well looks like you guys will have an awsome time. Looking forward to seeing the results of the day, you've all talked it up so much so expecting something alright anyway lol. Tried to convince Dad to take me down for the day to see everyone and the sailing but he couldn't be bothered in the end.

Anyway catch you soon hopefully and have a good days sailing.

Friday evening at snaps was a bit of fun on a 4.7 with two of us out don't think it stopped raining for the whole time.

Sailed scliff. A dozen or so from 12 oclock till 3 oclock. 5.4/98 freewave - a bit of a handfull at times - good when the wind was in but dropped out for short periods some nice size lumps have a bit of a launch off.

How was the Goolwa cahannel - wind obsvtns made it look a bit up and down as well

Looks like it's all over for another week or two.
