Went for a paddle down the Onka to the mouth with the outgoing tide then caught some tiny waves but got a few big kahuna 1 footers then floated back down the onka with the incoming tide. Was good fun but need some better waves.

We were watching someone at the river mouth late yesterday while fishing - looked pleasant paddling around out there - a friend took me and the kids to the local fishin spot so we could sit down and relax and have a chat - the bloody fish had other ideas and wanted to commit suicide on the hooks - left after dark with a bucket of 30odd nice sized little fishies between us kids were super stoked - bloody things interrupted an afternoons relaxation.

Oh well fresh fish for lunch - ever thought/tried SUPFishin?

I think I was paddling back down the river about 2:30ish I did see some people fishing then but not sure if it was you. Yes I was thinking about SUPFishin it's a good idea I might give it a go on a really flat day. When you gonna get a SUP Russ?

No idea Brett - got too much gear already in the shed - I'd need a trailer to take everything

Looks like fun though

I'm still planning on getting a trailer for gear so I can take it all away as the suby can only handle so much.
