You need to find another hobby Geoff. Buy a Sup and learn to ride waves, it will improve your wavesailing.

Light wind freestyle moves ?. Bower Rd is flat with consistent wind. I've just recently started Helitacking, so been practicing them in these light wind days.

Manage to Get on the water nearly every day Geoff - either surfing, SUPn or a sail - life's pretty fricken good I reckon this time of year - next week looks pretty good for some float n ride after work with some westerly swell - yee ha
Living close by helps - 100+ litre float n ride board is also very handy - you can be on it when its not forecast and when everyone else has gone home.

One thing that Perth/WA lacks and we have in spades is twisty roads. Have you ever thought about taking advantage of that Geoff ?

I'm editing. Lifestyle choice. Twisty roads - death which is why I went motor racing. Maybe Wednesday will be good!

Yeah feels like its taken a long time for sea breezes to start kicking in. Some of the vids have helped pass time - always good to see more out of SA. Hoping to dust off the gear for Friday.

Nope, it's going to be a fizzer. Knock off Friday, drive to Corros. Get there just in time for an few hours sail late arv Sunday. Drive back to work and ring in sick on Monday. Arrive at work Tuesday morning with nearly 5500km added on the odometer. You'll be a wreck, but totally doable.

Pack the car and come to the west and bring a SUP 'cos the weekend is going to be SUP weather then it's on again.

Hey question for you crow eaters, my wife is over your way holidaying at the moment and sent me pics of Nomanville beach. Any sailing there or surrounding areas?

Normanville - nice little spot. It gets cranking afternoon offshore gully winds (same as Sellicks beach slightly closer to Adelaide), however...a couple of Noahs spotted there last week, and last year one had a chew on a Kayak not far off Normanville beach...www.adelaidenow.com.au/nocookies?a=A.flavipes

Get your wife to head over to Silver Sands beach (Aldinga) - she can drive the car right onto it - awesome spot for a lazy beach day.

Not far from Normanville you have Adelaide's "Mid-coast" and Middleton (other side of Peninsula) for waves. Goolwa for flat water.
Next to Normanville is Carrickalinga - small waves/swell.

Plenty of options - all fairly close.
