Hi guys & girls,
Totally new to the sport and love it, what took me so long ??? As you all have been in the same boat as me i was wondering what size board and sail would suit me .Im about 80kg and have had some lessons but dont want to spend a fortune up front as i want to have some fun and enjoy myself ,
Any ideas or info on some good gear that might be for sale or what to stay clear from would be much appreciated,
Also is there a good windsurf shop around adelaide that might have used gear ?
Cheers and look forward to your replies

On board at the bay is the only local windsurfing shop. They are great supporters of windsurfing in Adelaide. They usually have some good second hand gear. Another good place to get second hand gear is here on sea breeze .
What did you learn on?
What sails did you use?
Where are you going to sail?
Can you turn around and come back?

Pretty friendly bunch here on SB, don't be shy

You seem to have forgot the Strath Windsurfing Shop the only purely windsurfing shop in South Australia!! Funny considering you are on their facebook page!

Go and see Pete at Onboard- Whilst he has to make a living and will add his margin, he will genuinely try and get you the right second hand gear to get you going.
