I'm glad I didn't go to the channel today.

Probably not Rankines ![]()
Did anyone get a sail today? I chose to stay in and do my homework, I was keeping an eye on it but the green arrows weren't happening. I was also wondering how Dave was feeling after his 40th last night? Great night, first time I'd been out for a while.
Snaps - 5-17 knts - four planing runs - with a face stinging 25knt squall with a few overpowered runs.
Pooh sailing - float and gybe for 90%
Dave was doin some nice tacks - 300 pints didn't seem to affect him that much - Dzub was helitackin the 7.5m!!!!!! - impressive
Bert flying around on the 112L.
All round a little less wind than expected - and for some reason the water seems to have dropped 5 degrees in a week - was folkin freezing when you dropped in the water.
Doing your homework was a good idea you really didn't miss much - felt sorry for Chris W driving from Sema4 and it was Sh**e.
Tomorrow - probably more of the same!!!
Different kettle of fish today. Both metro and the channel are cookin':

Monday was definitely the better of the weekend sailing.
Very nice later at snaps - up and down to start with - ended up a bit overdone on a 6.4 when it came in later - don't know what I was thinking putting that up and the sea weed was a pain but in all it was good fun and some nice jumps and little wave face gybes to be had.
Was nice to see a dozen crew out sailing though - daughter took some nice piccies - I will see if I can get them off her to post.
