Not sure if you guys have seen this weather resource in the Mesonet but its pretty awesome.

It is a network of weather stations throughout SA, with a heap of readings (wind, temp, humidity, evaporation etc) at 2 and 10m developed by PIRSA for farmers - but its wicked for kiters too.
I spoke to the developer today, and he can add any BOM station to the map too, and will kindly add the Adelaide Airport and Outer Harbour black pole readings to it. I will get in contact with him and see if he can the other BOM readings like Yorkes, KI, ones to it too - any other feedback let me know.
Some wind data is free (10m wind speed), but the to get the full suite there is a small subscription. Its non for profit and he subscription is just setup to manage maintenance costs for the site.
