BOM forecast for Lake Albert in morning is NE 15-20kt. My plan is to get to Meningie boat ramp about 8am (pending 5am weather report). See you there to anyone who wants to come down.

What is Lake Albert like to sail? How flat or choppy is it?

Russell: Yeah, that was a long drive (5 hour round trip). I'm in between projects at the moment. That was the day I could take off and there was a big blue patch over Lake Albert. Back on the peddle again.

Gareth. Nice talking to you today. Thanks for the Water and the Land tip

Every body of water on the planet looks choppy compared to the lake in your backyard Jamie!

speaking from personal experience, the mud out the front of the playground is like quick sand at Meningie, Ive often wondeed what it would be like to sail there,

JB: Yeah, pretty much it was take the gear for a drive. I probably won't bother trying to sail at Meningie again. We'll catch up for the Beach Port long weekend anyway.
