Hey!!
I was wondering if there were any other learners going down to beachport??
It would be good to meet some other people who are just starting out like me

I would love to go but I don't think my parents would let me. but during the school holidays I will most likely down at goolwa a fair bit but unfortunately while I have being doing a corse I have been able to use a bic Techno gear which I find a really easy rig to use but I have to give it back in 2 weeks and then back to my crapy gear I think I need to go shopping

also welcome to seabreeze.

Cheers Pittsy

Hey and welcome,

I'm trying to convince the old man to take me down that way for the long weekend. It's the long drive he hates. My sister and mum might be heading to Melbourne that weekend though which might play in my favour. Only issue is that i'm DJ'ing a wedding thing that saturday night which i booked up a few months ago so i can't get out of it, and i need the money for more gear lol. So if i don't get to it i'll be going to Goolwa, Boggy Lake and other places throughout the school holidays so might catch ya round.

Cheers

Nice. We need more learners!!!!

Is windsurfing to expensive for younger people?? More younger crew seem to go in the surfing direction as all they need is a wetsuit, board and a tank of fuel.

I try sooooo hard to get my wife into it.

Yeah i reckon windsurfing can get a bit expensive. Theres no way i would be able to afford all the gear i got without the help of my dad. However i still do buy lots of stuff out of my own pocket, boards mainily. I always shop around a lot to get that bargain so it's just a matter of being patient really. Thats why i got so many different brands in my set up lol. Just sold two boards and can't wait to get my new one. Think it's going to be a 93 S-Type, cant wait. Starting to warm up to so the soft man might be willing to head out more often. Have been keeping up with this Bic Techno sailing as well which i can tell is going to help my short board sailing too.

Seya all soon.
Cheers

I think it is pretty expensive... but its worth it!!
I have only been out a couple of times and I keep getting better and its worth it in the end...not that i can talk i borrow half the gear that i use!!!

Hopefully I will be able to start saving for my own stuff but i have a pretty dodgy job with no money haha..

Cya..
