Gday guys wondering if anyone has any info about Lake Bonney. We're camping here at the moment and it looks like it would be awesome if it was blowing. Does it get windy here often and do many people windsurf here?
Hi Dave, the main winds we get on the lake are northerlies followed by cold fronts, over summer we do get seabreezes but they come in late. The lake is a safe spot to sail but keep away from the dead trees in the water better off walking out past them then take off. Town side no problems taking off from the shore.
