Stuck in Perth airport. Gratefully am not held hostage by AFP this time so will be around and about tomorrow for a sail if anyone is heading out.
At 8.30am it was 20-25knots. Sailed it like that on a 4.7 then it backed off about 9.30am, changed up to 5.3 them it moderated about another hour later. Should have been there at 7am!! Dave is spot on, was great for kids later, gonna take Jade down there one day.![]()
No Weeeeed when i was there, except in close on the reef near shore. Maybe it was the effect of the weeeed on you Russ
I heard there was lots of weed at Semaphore on Saturday. Im sure that the Pat & Torrens being flushed with the rain the week before would have killed off heaps of seagrass hence the weeeeeed.
Yeah its that seagrass - long strips - when its borderline planing conditions it just seems to attach to the vertical base of my freewave fin and wont come off.
The last few sails I had at Kent jhave all been weedy and friday night at U turns was a 17 knt weed infested sail
Not a problem if its windy enough for the wave gear
