The middle of this trip hasn't been so good. We had a big jumping day at fourth beach. Bondy practiced his 'super-spinners' back loops. Paul damaged his leg (although can still sail). I practiced a few chicken gybes. We all got some big air although life was dodgy in the impact zone.
We have had many 20 - 30 knot forecasts that have ended with thunderstorms after on-shore 10 - 15 knots. Finally got another sail yesterday on the South Wester.. One turn rides at twighlights on the Middleton tack followed by a hardcore on-shore jumping day on the same tack at the boat ramp. Wind peaked around 45 knots, normally around 30.
Hoping for two more days at the end of the trip of genuine arid waveriding. Cross fingers.... Sounds like its happening in SA now.
