Didn't really know where to go - had limited time - ended up at North Haven - broke the rule about sailing in offshores. Whilst rigging had a bloke come up and say I was going to end up at Port Vincent. A woman came up and said it was too offshore. Blah blah blah. It was blowing 24 knots or something - you think I'm going to sit on the beach! (Seriously there's enough curvature on the beach and two big rock groynes as pick up features each end).

Had an absolute blast with the wind howling straight off the beach. Normally it's sailing along the Wall of Love but yesterday it was along the Beach of Sand Blast! Super gusty - 24 - 32 ENE - NE - almost got catapulted a few times - thinking I was doing great (6.0 & wave board) and then someone sailed up from Largs - it looked like they were hanging onto a 6.5 or 7.0 m! Nice work mate!

Nice little waves at the southern end - got some jumps off super clean little ramps. What a session and managed to (just) make it to the home brew comp presentation at the Wheaty afterwards!

Where'd everyone else sail and hope you had a good session

hehe that was me that sailed up to ya. Was gonna hang around for a bit but it started to die out (or so i thought) so i got the hell out of there after a few runs while i still could. Btw I checked the oharbor readings and it was 28-38 about that time. Felt less there of course because its well protected, but out at largs it was quite hectic indeed.

Gusty ne and some miniscule waves - out the back of triggs was close to 30 knts on the gusts just past u turns was lucky to be 10 knts - good fun though

Couldnt believe how hot it was sailing though - boiled in my 3/2 winter suit.

Few of us sailed Middleton. Was pretty gusty though. Still a few fun waves to be had.

Had a late afternoon session at Kingston Park with a 5.3. Convinced myself that off the point it was practically cross-shore and filled in. By the time I got on the water it seemed gusty and ****-house. Got wet I suppose, and wore a spring suit for the first time this season.

Was a lot windier off semaphore north. There was a funnel effect at the end of the largs jetty. Had 30 knots+ in the gusts. Was a bit of fun for a while...

El Geoffo next week - I'm not working!
