While the wave comp was on, the numb nuts went to Grundy Street, Clayton for some easier (apparently) sailing. The gusts were insane. It was survial sailing for us both. I was on a 5.2 (smallest), Koshi was on a 5.8.

Looks like you guys had fun. 30 k gusts coming through if it was anything like Middleton. Pretty dramatic rise in the water level since I was last there!
Legless: From the bank to bank I couldn't touch the bottom. One point, my rigg was upside down in the water, so well over 4 metres. The chop was getting to about 0.5 metre when it blew.
DD: I would love to join, you, but going to a smaller board, it's back to basics for a little bit.
