Found a chinook base plate in the bushes at boggy lake - 11/12/10. Pm me if you lost one.

hey carl, not mine, but tell me what the day was like. i was poleaxed with some sort of stomach bug...i kept the car loaded ready to go if i felt better, but it just never happened. BOM tells me it was even windier than Thursday and the GPS scores look impressive.

Hi Trousers.

Shame you weren't well and missed it. It was gusty n/w - 12 - 25 knots - you could run along the troughs but would hit the back of some waves. Good fun doing speed runs with Sam but you had to be careful. By mid arvo when packing up it would have been gusting to 30 knots but i had a shocking migrane - maybe dehydrated so couldn't head back out. It looked choppier anyway.
