Hi everyone. I'm in the market for a new board and was after some advice for which brands and styles to consider. I currently ride a JP allride 116 L which is great except for the constant repairs which I find have to do.

I mainly sail Kingston SE, Lake George and a have had the odd sail at 3rd Ramp, Robe. I'm pretty keen to get into more wave sailing so am wanting a board more suited to that but still want something that is good for flat water blasting.

I was thinking Starboard Kode about the 100L mark might be a good option. Was also wondering about OES boards.

My sailing level is only intermediate and I weigh bit less than 80 kgs. I hope that is enough information or not to much.

Any advice or feedback would be greatly appreciated

budget?

if you have the funds for a 'new' board .. ie i assume your budget is approx $2k, then I would buy x2 used boards of approx $1k. there are plenty of great boards for $1k just a year or two old.

one board for the blasting/freeride and the other more bump&jump/wave focused.

Was thinking I would have to spend about $2500 for the board I wanted. Think I may come across a 2nd hand Kode 103 L 2011.

From all the reviews and comments Ive read they sound like excellent boards.
