Short, I only got one wave, but it was not a bad one. Unfortunately I have learned the Soloshot needs to shoot from higher on the big days as it does not receive the signal through the waves, so this "MONSTER" is missing from the land footage. The soloshot makes it look so small!!
Of course it was Jaws like from my perspective! There was a lot of chewing and spitting white water today. Others seem to get more out of it than me, although at least I went out. There were a few procastinators left on the beach...
Well, there was a fair bit of carnage down the beach... from what I saw => broken u-joint, totally popped sail, and snapped mast... not to mention a lot of swimming going on... having had such a good session on Sunday, decided to take Senior's Privilege and watch the biffo!
Dont worry Geoff, I recorded your triple mast high wave from Maris's balcony :)
(video to follow with Sunday (mid coast and middleton) and Monday middleton footage)
Yesterday was brutal!
Well done to all that went out and survived,
Sounds like yesterday was challenging.
I’m still trying to wipe the smile off my face from Sunday. Bloody good fun!

Thats the problem with Gopro footage too. The wave only looks head high, unless thats all it was. ![]()

I enjoy the Sunday sail at 3 poles.
