If any beginner is looking for a some free stuff to get them going, I've got a Mauisails aluminium boom "4-piece" (160-210). Mechanically sound, but It needs regripping though (you can buy new grip for about $25). It will fit sail sizes between 5 and 7.5m. I've also got a euro pin base. PM if you're interested.

I have a 2010 Maui sails 5.6m Loco which I used as a beginner from light to strong winds that you can have for $250. Its in great condition and does well for beginners. Rigs on a 430 mast and 175 boom I believe.
I also have a Fibre spar quick tip 430 mast that Im getting rid of for about $130
Also have have an old hawaiian pro boom that would rig on that sail. ($40)
Buy the sail and mast, you can have the boom for free.
If you were looking for really cheap old stuff, I have a single piece 4.5m mast ($50) and a 4m sail that you can have with it for free.
The boom would also rig on this setup.
