Hi all...
I'm interested in trying windsurfing and have been all over the internet. It's been a real challenge finding anything approximating lessons for beginner windsurfing in the region.
If you could point me in any sort of direction, I'd really appreciate it.
My current job gives me good flexibility in terms of being free.
I have no kit and no real idea if this sport is for me... but I've spent enough days on the windy beach looking out to know I'd love to give it a go.
Welcome. No school I know of except for kids (Brighton Surf LIfesaving Club and a school on Yorke Peninsula). How heavy are you ?. What part of Adelaide do you live ?
PS/ There is a shop that sells Windsurfing gear called Binks Marine. You could try giving them a ring to see if they do lessons ?
binksmarine.com.au
I'm about 65kg. I live near west lakes but travel down south regularly.
will give them a call
I've got a 110L freeride board. I could put a small sail on it and you could give it a try at West Lakes in light winds ?. If Binks can't help, give me a ring: 0466 104586.
Mitton, see "ShaneOC" post here:

Thanks so much. Will see how things go this week.
