Hi All, just letting you know that the gov has put 2 weather stations on Lake George that are also able to be accessed by the internet. They are on big yellow tripod pontoons you can't miss then pretty easy to see.
There is currently one operational on the big lake and one in the middle lake that is currently broken down but will be back on by January when they get the parts.
You can get wind direction and speed of these.

Jimbo,
I thought it looked like a weather station when kiting pass it the other day.

I suppose you didn't get a close look at it since you were down the Robe road end playing with your GPS.

I haven't seen a post on how far you covered that day, oop's sorry, you actually walked most of the way. hehehe
Got a new fin yet?

HAAK

and it was my favourite weedy I lost.......
got a new fin it came in the new F2 board i just got last week.
It was a crap 2 hours getting back with no fin in deep water and having to use my harness as an anchor to steer the board then actually hang on to a race sail in the over 30 gusts, the pub beer was good after though.
the board is unreal, I will give you a run if you like it might even bring you back from the dark side.
here is my tracks only 25k's that day. you need google earth to see. just add the plug in if not working.
