I was quite lucky yesterday. Looked too big for my skills for Middleton so I went to Semaphore point getting there at 1:30pm. It was solid 25 - 30 knots, dead onshore low tide. The wind had stirred up quite a good set of ramps and it was reasonably flat between them. For an on-shore day it was quite good.
Ahh the joys of taking the afternoon and scoring a decent sail. Was not as good as a Monday waveride, but still awsome fun. Makes me feel young again!
Wind dropped not long after 3pm, although it looked like there was another rain squall on the horizon.
