Not trying to get myself lynched or upset any of the locals... need to make that clear right from the get go.

OK, so what sort of wave sailing is on offer across the South Oz gulf and what time of year ?

What can be accessed easily by 4wd... and more importantly what could be reached by boat ?

Oh and by boat I mean 35 foot cruiser with all the creature comforts AND plenty of room for sailing gear and a few South Oz mates !

Sounds like a plan could be forming !
Just doing some calculations regarding steaming times across from Adelaide on the water as opposed to driving around.
Also looking into safe anchorages and access to waves.
The aim would be to stay on the boat, rig from the back and sail across to the break zone

This post should read 'Across the lake'.or 'On the other side of the pond'

With a nice 20 -25 southerly forcast this afternoon they will be nothing more than chop slops if were lucky.

Bring on Winter and maybe a wave!!
