Been keeping a record of my water time, so I can make a business case to the CFO for more kit (only joking!
)
There are 365 days in a year and I scored 81 sessions:
Amazingly I used my 5.2 more than my 6.0!
Semaphore is my main sailing location...must've something to do with the sea breezes and being 10 mins from home....
The 4.0 got wet once - Semaphore - but could've used a 3.3...
The 4.5 came out twice at Sellicks and 5 times at Semaphore...
The 5.2 got used mainly at Semaphore and M'ton/Goolwa stretch. Note it doesn't necessarily mean it was windy enough for 5.2 on the M'ton stretch - more a 6.0 isn't the best in larger waves.
The 6.0 feels like the work horse of my quiver (tho statistically it's not). Three out of 4 of my Kent Res sails used a 6.0.
Here's where the surfing went on - week long trips to Robe, Noosa and Kangaroo Island (often 2 surfs a day) skews the results a bit.
i want your job, wife and life jim lol. 52 sails a year would be ace in my opinion and i dare say i dont quite get that.
a 6yr old a 3yr old and a 6 month old child will put a dent in anyones sailing time i spose.
its tough when you have to create sailing partners![]()
