I've got a pass to get out tomorrow, anyone sailing boggy lake and what sail do you expect to use with the current forecast? Smallest I have is 5.9. 77kg sailor, 102l board, intermediate ish skill level

Meteye says after 10.30 it will be 22knts. but who knows. 5.9 should be doable depending on your experience in that wind strength. I was there today @ 5:15 and it was 30 + knots. Only one guy out on a wave board and was overpowered on a 4.7 Smallest I had was a 5.5 so turned around and went home. Might have to chuck a sickie tomorrow.

Hey Alex,

Go for it. Downhaul that 5.9 hard and put your boom down a touch. It's your last chance to sail for three weeks anyway right?

Wish I could be there. :(

Cheers!

Had a decent hour or so of 15-18k few gusts and a 35k squall. It's consistent 20+ Now (12:30.
My arms are a few inches longer after the run back in overpowered.

If it was at your little perfect pond I would have had a shot at it, but not in the Bog hole slop on a 106lt board.
