Hi
I haven't sailed the 85L Quatro Freewave but i have used the 75L a few times. All i can say is that you will not be disappointed at all. Iv used it at lano, crazy waves and dutchies and its always handled it fine. Its a super easy board to use and it makes sailing FUN, planes easy, turns great (too good at times), floats well, etc. Go see Alberto at Windshack as he may have the 06 75L demo board you can use. For a Perth based board i would look no further.
With the Goya i haven't used them but iv used the 05 78L FW and that was great too, i personally prefer the Quatro but as its kinda more wave based, go and have a look at them.

Regarding the sails, may i suggest Hot Sails Maui Superfreak. It is a different sail and i think you will either love it or hate it. I love them (don't own any though) and they have a HUGE top end and are very controllable. Iv used a 5.0 when i should be on a 4.2 yet i can get planing really early with the 5.0 too. Also they are just about indestructible, just food for thought .

Hi Mj
Stoked for the interest in our boards! Last year the Quatro FW 85 was rated as the best Freewave board by the US mag.(and believe me they do test in similar waves and conditions to what we have ) We also had in the past three seasons an incredible response in the Goya line, making us very proud and confident in our products.
Please follow other reviews:

I have a Goya One 85 available for a test, and the whole range of Superfreaks that they deserve a closer look.

Hi Alberto

Do you have any 2006 Quattro FW 85s for demo? I'm back in perth on the 22nd Dec, and am serious about updating my board.

Thanks
