With the help of my better half we sewed the kids sleeping bags together and backed it with some canvas from an old tent, added a zip and now my new (new to me) wave board sleeps warm and protected. total cost of about $10.

kids needed new sleeping bags anyway (xmas)

And no, I cant squeeze in with the board when its cold!!

Mine is an opposite story

sailing from a caravan park I was there for a few days.
i had forgotten all my bedding bar one blanket.
Needless to say my stretchy board bag was a good subsitute for a sleeping bag.
