The Blade really seems to hit the mark for many wave sailors. There really is nothing on the market quite like the Blade with its Paradox of onshore power but still maintaining the highest control in down the line conditions – all thanks to the Aussie Severne design team’s unique focus on rider geometry. Long gone are the days of needing seperate designs for onshore and down the line sailing.
The full foil delivers low end grunt and rig spring while the short boom and relatively high skin tension locks the shape down for maxed out conditions.

by any chance do you have a severne? it seems to be at least here to be a lot more inexpensive than most sails..just wondering how durable the build is like the luff material and in general..
Severne Sails lead the Windsurf Sail industry in sail material development right now. Severne have been responsible for developing cloths that many other brands now use (like that Shiny metallex that was introduced 4 years ago and was instantly copied by many others)
as well as many cloths that other brands havent even looked at yet (like E2 and E 4 - the most high tech, expensive laminates on the market right now! - can be found on S1 and Glide)
Some Severne sails use up to 10 different types of laminate - the most any competitor uses today is around 4.
Severne also put in an Aramid torsion frame around their wave sails - its basically a kevlar reinforcing perimeter that shields the extremities of a wave sail from impact damage - you cant see it because its not UV stable and must be hidden under leech tape , etc
This super strong fibre also runs through the mast sleeve of super high tension race sails to give the material a chance against the extreme fatigue that these forces can cause
Even Severne seaming has extra folds and reinforcements so that the seam in the luff sleeve is tucked right away from harms way (like sharp mast tips running through them)
Price wise - Here in OZ they sit in the mid -range of all other brands - which given the race and wave results in Australia, Rave test reviews, sharp and progressive graphics and technology that is moving the sport forward - represents a great value
Durability wise - you can choose your weight / durability through the range from the All x ply gators to the high mono content NCXs.
Maybe your Distributor in the Phillipines is doing special deals?
