well, been riding my new rs slalom 6.2 for about a month now. and i love it. very stable sail, with heaps of bottom end. and when i stick it on my sonic, i swear it leaves vapor trails ! got sucked into the raf cam thing a few years back, and only recently snapped out of it and moved back to cammed race sails - and how i missed that rock solid feeling. the best thing is - the harder the wind blows the faster you go - that simple. no shifting power, no trying to balance front and back hands... you just have to try and keep the board on the water.
its such an easy sail to rig and de-rig for a deep luff cammed sail, and it has a huge wind range. i can plane in 15kn and was able to hold onto it in 25-30kn (just!)
thanks for the tip reg, its a ripper sail.
The bloody trouble with these RF sails is.....
I cant bloody afford one![]()
