I have a titan 7.0 and a titan 8.0, my frined has a titan 7.5 and 9.0 another frined has a 7.0 and other 7.5.

This sails are super good they are easy to waterstart as alomost no water get in the mast sleeve also are very fast and rotation on the camber like a hot pan an butter.
I can recommend this sail to any one even my enemy.
Almost forgot is super light in weight.

Hi Pirrad,

After having several of Barry Spanier's sails from when he was at Gaastra (including 8.5 GTX) I just picked up a new 11.0 Titan (2009). Not sure what size you are looking for but I also demoed a 7.0 from The Windsurfing Shed in Sydney. So far I'm very happy with the sail.

The 7.0 was very solid in the gusts and felt fast. Easy to rig. The 11.0 is nice and soft for pumping, has a lot of power, and goes upwind very nicely (i use it for formula racing).

Build quality seems very good with plenty of x-ply down the leech.

Not sure what mast you are using your GTX on, but note that the Mauisails masts are a bit narrower diameter than a fiberspar, so if you don't have the recommended MS mast, then see if you can rig it beforehand on your mast to make sure the cams rotate smoothly. Also get someone to demonstrate the right amount of downhaul as they need to be set up to the specs for best results.

By the way, the colour schemes (esp red and blue) look pretty sweet.

If you're a fan the GTX, then the Titan would be a great choice.

cheers
james
