I do put it on my garth helmet ,
I have watched a few you tube clip where guys have ,looks like a carbon
extension on the front of their mast and can vid yourself on both sides of the sail.
looks great.can you buy these or has anyone made one i can copy .![]()

the videos have almost any mount imaginable !!
Hey ...thanks joe .
what a great little vid.
and some good angles .
the one on the front of the board was pretty good .
maybe I should try that first ..with a tall mount ...San fran looks great for sailing .![]()
Hey Tardy, here's a picture of my boom mount effort. The pictures self explanatory. The arm length is around 50cm

Hi mark ,thanks for sharing .
great angle .
and nice sailing .
i just happen to have a old boom laying around .![]()
i best get to work on it .
i guess you just loosen the screws to turn the boom clamp around .your s looks to be a metre ..
Yeah sheet didn't think of that.but the vid I saw .the guy was gybing all the time .but his was a high shaft with a upward bend.
The boom arm in the video was 1 meter long (I attached a piece of broken mast to it to make it 1 meter long) like john340 says, at 195cm tall, fir me it was a nightmare to gybe/tack. Straight lining only!
The boom arm in the photo is my latest version. Maui Sails boom head (my first one keep't slipping) and I've taken the mast section off. The new length is 50cm. Hopefully I'll be able to tack with it??
