Thumbs Up

Hi there

Due to availability up here i´m looking into getting a tabou waveboard. I´m 77 kg + 6mm of neoprene, hood, mittens and all that stuff so when i´m riding i´m well over 80kg. I ride in everything from side on small stuff to side off logo high, sometimes bigger but then i´m just ****ting my suit. I´m not a very good waverider, still working on getting those turns proper. sail sizes mainly 4.2-5.3 and during those side off days it can be very gusty and light on the inside.

I used to have a 2011 dacurve 79L. It was fantastic on the wave in side off conditions but felt very small compared to my other boards with similar float in liters (also more narrow). -so when i was using it in side on conditions it didn´t really work that well, too late to get going.

Looking at the tabou range for 2016 the dacurve 86L is similar in width as my waveboards that i have liked and they say it is supposed to be better suited for different conditions (including side on) that the previous models and get going earlier. Has anyone here some experience with that board as a board for all wave conditions? or perhaps the pocket?- i´m just a little afraid that the 78 pocket will be a little small for my gusty side-off days and the 86L will be too wide.
