Hi All,

Im looking at buying a second hand 115L freeride board.
A couple I have in mind are an 03 Mistral Screamer 117L, a Starboard Carve 111L, or a 01 Mistral Flow 115L. The Screamer and Carve are shorter and wider than the flow, what are the benefits of shorter and wider?
Where I sail is tidal with a tide hight difference of 2.5M so when the tide and wind are opposing it can get quite choppy, would any of the above boards be better for these conditions.
PS I dont have a lot to spen which is why Im looking at boards more than 2 yrs old
Cheers

Jimmy

i used to sail a flow 115, I think it will handel the chop better then the other 2 boards BUT will be no way near as good at getting on the plane and gybing will be heaps easier on the carve and screamer.

if i had the choice i'd go the carve.

good luck
