Demo's of the new Tabou windstyler available in Sydney by calling David on 0410507420
I had the pleasure of sailing the boards on Lake Garda at the importers meeting both with 10m GTX in 5-8knots and with a 6m in about 15 knots. What I liked is that it really is a bit of a Camelion. Like a Wally but also with the big sail capability of formula boards. During the meeting we tested a proto with tube throught the deck that released the water from the stepped tail and this model will be introduced I think because by releasing the water from the step it plained much earlier with big sails. On the 6m in marginal conditions the glide and upwind ability was not quite that of a wally but still very fun. I used to have an old Alpha 340m board in the 80's and it reminded me of that.
Anyway I have one in my van now on perpetual demo if anybody wants a ride in Sydney, give me a call on the above number. See the promo details below.
Tabou Wind Styler
Taking a look back to the days of early windsurfing, you see longboards; Lots of them. Waters all around the world were filled with wind powered crafts that put smiles on just about anybody’s face. People were sailing in no wind, a little wind and even a lot of wind - all on one board. These were the days when windsurfing was booming. People were into it and the future shows that longboarding is coming back, much like surfing.
If you were one of those who had the One-Design style windsurfer, surely you can remember the fun in cruising around spinning the sail, rail riding and whatever else you could think of. A few years after that, an new craze came into the sport- it was all about going fast and getting up on a plane. Boards began to get shorter and shorter, having less and less volume. This decreased the number of days you could get on the water and have FUN!
Imagine if you could combine both attributes, no wind cruising and planing in the same board…. Wouldn’t that be great? Times are changing and Tabou are more than excited to introduce the Windstyler - a windsurfing revolution.
