Give us a bit more info, what sails are you using and whats your weight. I can tell you to set the straps right out on flat water and you might need a smaller fin in 20 knots plus.
Combine it with Gaastra you have what many world class sailors use today! Could that be bad?

these are my combinations
tabou 69 with the following
RS3 NP 7.5
6.5 GAASTRA GTX
always using the 46 cm tabou fin
PS you saying i am world class sailor too ?![]()
Sure mate, at least u should feel like one when ur riding the gear
. I buy loads of Steve Allens gear wenever he comes home, n the first thing I do is to take his gear out without changing anything, so to feel his settings n see how different it is to mine, n to c if it improves my stance n technique. then i jump out of myself n feel the gear as if im him. gee, that world champion feeling is good!

well padi if bjorn dunkerback lived in oz then yep i would be after his secondhand gear ! but i guess i will settle for others seconds or the once in a while brand new product !
now , seriously, i think i have to update to using a better mast for the sails and other equipment to max out the sail to full potential, i do watch techniques of others ! one in particular is Linda who sails at the train at southport, her turns and cruising style on the board well umm outclasses all or most of the guys i am afraid !!!!
how ever i do say since sailing the tabou 69 i have made quite a lot of progress in technique, speed control, turns, and general control overall.
thanks for the feedback padi
