Hi folks

is the starboard sizing spot on, or do they feel bigger (ie more supportive) or smaller than their liter spec would suggest?

The reason i ask, is that the width is all pretty similar....specs:

Vol?Length?width?tail ofo?thickness
82?229?58.5?37.3?11.8
87?230?59?38.5?11.7
92?231?60.5?38.2?12.2
100?231?60.5?38.2?12.7

For example 87 or 92.....for 5.7 - 4.7m @ 85kg...id assume 92, but 87 looks close as well?!

Ive got a starby 2013 100L quad and the 2012 87l Quad. I reckon the 100l is pretty accurate - its similar float to an old 104 freewave I have just narrower

I rarely use the 87 cause the 100l it just seems to handle 99% of the local wave conditions and its a sweet wave board.
I hardly ever put the 87 (its 59.5 I think and quite floaty for my 87kg's) in the car.
Compared my 100 with the 92 and it looks mainly thickness between nose and up to the back strap thats the difference - not much though.
Just depends on what and where your sailing - we get pretty avaerage conditions here so there is plenty of slogging going on in the very rare waves lately.
