Just brought a RRD twinpin, very cheap, so as you can imagine, needs alot of work. and being busy with work, car maintenance etc it will be another week (atleast) untill i have it repaired/re gripped/repainted/etc
I want to get into freestyle and thought that a freestyle board would be the way to go, so yeah... let me know your thoughts on these boards
anyway just looking for peoples comments on these boards.
What are they like? it looks like it will be a killer board, but untill i ride one i dont know.
Thanks
Jordan
The reason you got it "very Cheap" is because you got dudded! Sounds like you bought yourself an imitation brand. There is no such thing as an RRD Twinpin.
If however you mean Twin Tip then I am sure you will find the info you are looking for by scanning the test pages of the world. If you mean Twin Fin then you bought yourself a wave board and not a freestyle board.
Ok, i wrote the title wrong, ITs the Twin Tip,
,
No its not a imitation.
the board has the top graphics taken down to nothing, and the "twin tip" looked to say twinpin, so i stuffed up![]()
Iv seen these boards in magazines and freestyle videos, so i know they gotta be fairly good, but im looking for some one who uses one to give their oppinion.
The repairs start today so lets say 3 or 4 days untill i hit the water with it.

RRD Twin Tip used to be the best Freestyle boards available back a few years ('99 - 2000ish).
Since then freestyle has gone balistic and all the manufacturers are making great boards. I couldn't fault my Starboard Flare '09 in Carbon construction... it's awesome, but for a bargain, it sounds like you've got yourself a great buy!
