Mates,

If any of you used Quatro Tempo Twin in 92 or 84 I need your opinion. It got some very good marks from testers. I'm also a bit in dilemma which size to get.. I like the idea of being able to uphaul the board hence 92 and be more sloppy, but I have some good skills and can waterstart in 2 seconds if enough wind... I wonder if I can stick my super light Naish boxer on 84L with 17.5cm X-twins and get away with it..?

My weight is 175 -180 pounds - 80kg..

How Tempo 84 compares to Mistra Twinzer 84 for example? How plaining compares?
and is it true that 2010 Tempo, 2011 Twin (Tempo) and 2012 are exactly the same shape?

If it's the mistral twin of a couple of years ago shaped by Nelson then the two boards are chalk and cheese.

i have the 76 and 84 tempo the 84 carrys my naish 5.7 force no problems with standard fins , great boards for onshore waves and bump and jump , if your not riding 3m + waves the 92 might be the better choice.

I too am considering a twin and quad.

The Goya Custom Quad and Quatro LS / Tempo are strong considerations.

Anymore input, opinions would be appreciated.

Thx

i also have a goya custom quad 84 , got it 2nd hand a few months ago so have not yet used it in good dtl conditions but a heap of fun on the winter waves i have ridden so far , also great control when over powered jibes well but not a fast board compared to the tempo but turns tighter , found the mast track works better further back on both boards especially on the goya witch if the mast track is to far forward slaps its nose on the chop alot
