OES Wave boards built with "Innegra"
Sick of you new wave board falling to bits and snapping??
After extensive testing of both constuction and durablity, we will be incorporating a new second construction with our CIC Carbon, Innegra,Corecell construction for our custom and production customs wave boards.
www.hugedomains.com/domain_profile.cfm?d=innegrity&e=com is a new materail that has been just released onto the market with superior impact strenght and bonding properties.
''Innegra S high performance fiber is the lightest fiber available, delivering superior toughness in a composite while reducing weight.''

While we have had very little construction problems with our standard CKC Carbon Kevlar Corecell construction over the last 21 years the CIC construction allows us to reduced the weight by another 300 to 400gm without any lost of durabity strenght. All our wave boards will be offered in both CIC and CKC constructions

^^^ No. Dynema is high modulus polyethylene.
Innegra is polypropylene.

Thanks for the info.

Is there any information available about how to cut the fibre (special scissors needed?), which resin to use (connection of the fibre inside the matrix, ease impregnating with resin), heat treatment, etc. ?

talk to your local composite material supplier. they will have datasheets with all the info you need. otherwise you may find the info on the product website.

i think i've seen this stuff before, from what i remember its quite cheap compared to kevlar... thou i may be thinking of the wrong thing.
