Although late in the season, I have managed to get my hands on a new Combo Wet suit from Windwarrior. Reason I went this way was due to the great value I found with the Blast Shield I purchased last year.
Have only worn it twice, and so far its just as ,or better than the Blast Shield in the "keep the body warm" stakes performance
Have used it River and Ocean.
With Ocean performance I still felt comfortable and warm when the rest of the crew started to feel the cold, keeping in mind that its a 'Spring Suit' and I hatteeeee cold water
Rating I can give it being a 1 for low and 10 for way over the top.
Score out of 10 for its comfort stakes, 9+
Score out of 10 for its actual fit, 9
Score on branding logo's 10
Score on Logo location 6 (needs some on side legs)
Score on build quality 8+
Score on Kev's perseverance to get it too me, 10++

New WindWarrior Combo SpringSuits have received some great feedback from our testers and team riders.
Featuring full metallite material in the arms and upper body, as featured in our BlastShield range, combined with 1mm supa stretch neoprene in the lower sections, produces one of the lightest and warmest spring suits on the market.
The stretch factor of the metallite and the supa stretch provides unbelievable levels of flexibility with the common response being 'you don't feel like you are wearing a wet suit at all'

I have a blastshield and can attest to its fantastic ability to keep you warm while being light, thin and stretchy.

The biggest problem I can see with the spring suit, if its made out of similar light, thin and stretchy material, will be the focus it places on my lower appendage. I am just a little bit afraid that it might have the same effect as lycra bike shorts.

only wish I had something worth showing off

Don't worry Grumps, mine came with a cool netted bag to store it in so you could always roll the bag up and place strategically for "disco" style man-ness.
FYI, the material on the blastshield is only on the upper body and arms anyway so plenty of fedangle room downstairs....!

Hey Grumps I have the same problem with stinger suits, so I wear boardies over the top.
Now I don't know what looks worse, looking like a Gay Bar Loiterer, or a Tea Bagger
