Tried my new 6.7 out last Saturday at Palm Beach in Sydney. Wind was a very gusty NW swinging N. Shouldve used bigger but hey its a new sail
Straight of the bag it looked and set sweet. Rigged easy but made sure I didnt put too much tension on d/h and battens until stretched in.
On the water it felt smooth with heaps of power but controllable power and seeing the wind was pretty light for this size it planed really quick. The outline is slightly different and has a straighter luff.
Quite different to the RS Slalom MkII I had been using, very solid feeling in the hands. It accelarates steadily without being a handful. Super keen to see what it can do in some decent wind.
Wind was probably around 13-16 knots in short gusts. consistently pulling 28 & 29's on GPS. After an hour or so I added another 2 cms d/h which made it feel even better. Need a few more sessions but this is Sydney in the doldrums.
Not much of a test due to the conditions but I hope it helps.

Hi Ka43,

Id be interested in hearing a bit more about a comparison to the RS:Slalom?

Thanks
David
