Guys,
I wonder if someone could offer an opinion on this boom please. Looking at the 180 - 230.
Or if someone can recommend a boom for bigger sales around that range i would appreciate it.
cheers
Mick
I have three X6s, 200-250, 180- 230 and 160-220 they all work in a similar way, tho the two smaller ones are a reduced diameter grip and the smallest has is narrow reach wave edition. I am heavy >90 kgs and have not broken one yet, but saying that you won't see me doing flaka spinny hoppy loopy things, just the odd chop hop and occasional catapult....So I probably am fairly easy on them. They are reasonably stiff and a million times better than the X3.
And all that said you are about to hear from a heap of folk that will trash anything by NP and totally hate these booms.
i had an X3 that i was happy with and it lasted for ages... (well 2yrs)
cant see the logic in going half carbon half ali.... go the the full hog or save your $$ and get a big ali boom and use little extension.
