Hi all, it's done in Canada, just a handful of Polar bears are going
sailing, quite cold...but our windsurfing forums are RED HOT and
topics lately are Multi-Fin. The season is over and we are already
thinking about next year gear, LOL!!! But you guys are the best place to test 2011 gear, lucky you!!!
Most of us are sailing inland, go to Great Lakes in falls to have a bit of wave sailing(could be good down the line, but not powerfull wave) and do 10 to 15 hours to get good ground swell once in a while. For those who love Wave sailing, we need wave boards. In the past, the single fin Wave board was also the best board to hav as a high wind board in B&J...so no question to be ask..just pick your 70 - 75L wave board and there you go. Right now, most of company changed their single fin wave board for convertible thrusters. A lot of us are thinking about multi-fin! Sure, we all know that FSW(freestyle wave) 75L single fin is the board to blast in flat water
and can hit some wave also.
So, how multi-fin handle flat water nuclear wind, are they fun in
those kind'a condition or they are now, surfboard for windsurfing and...just buy a multi-fin if you are going to wave sail!
Any inputs are more than welcome.
thanks.

Used a twin and a quad on flat water on a high wind 4.0 day and I still way prefer my single fin Tabou pocket wave 75lt on the flat. It's much easier to get good height on your jumps and throw freestyle on. When the 40knt squalls came through and we started doing speed runs from the top of the lake I found the single easier to control and faster. but it might just be a personal thing.
