hello there... anyone can help me out by telling me how to release the base mast from the board
mine is a MEQ2 with a latch in front - photo coming .. here it is:

Paapy, I have the same board. That does not look like the original Mistral part. Mine is an almagamation of the original Mistral part with the Chinook. The Red part by turning it allows the metal "bolt pin" to be turned and so clicked in and out of the track. If yours still has the original Mistral metal pin maybe it needs to be turned and unlocked somehow. I should explain I do not know exactly what you have on your board but you may want to look into it further. why replace the whole track ?? and watched the video - that was a MEQ 2 also - wrong track n truck
like RichardG says - wrong base in the track
the original had an old "nut" shape that locked it by turning it
both of us suggest trying spinning it with pliers or ??
