You are going to have to give us more information if you want a reasonable reply.

How much do you weigh? Is it for light wind or strong wind? What are your existing sail sizes? What is the typical wind strength you want to sail the new sail in?

I would love to help you out with your question but as Formula Nova suggests a bit more information is required.

You will find quite a lot of information about the sails on the KA site.
www.kasail.com
Both the Koncept and KaRace pages explain the sails well and supply all the specifications, plus there is an FAQ area.

If you have specific questions you could ask them on the KA forum and the Team riders will help you out or you can use the "Ask KA" page

OK ...thanks guy !

sorry forget to write more info ...

i have 100kg , driving JP Slalom 76 wide and thommen RS66 wide

will drive most of the time on choppy condition and gusty wind

i already have 7.8 NP racing and 11.0 formula size sail

6.3 will be for about 26 34knts wind 8.7 for about 15knts

i read already their page but i want to know from first hand about sails ;)

It appears that you need both sizes...

I had 1 KA formula sail which was very light and also provided more power than another sail of the same size. I liked it a lot...

Ok, well the best guy to talk to is Jesper Orth. Jesper did the bulk of the R&D on the Race and has spent far more time on them than anybody. I was involved but to a lesser extent and I have only spent any serious hours on the 7.9
I will let Jesper know this thread is here so he can respond.
Being involved in the design my opinion will obviously be colored but I will give you some information and my honest observations
The Race is a serious full blown race sail, 8 battens, 4 cams moderately wide sleeve , carbon battens and reasonably high downhaul loads and foil tension. On the water the sail feels surprisingly light yet really pulls up on to the plane easily, excellent bottom end power. It feels fast, very slippery and has great gust response accelerating instantly. The cam rotation is ok, not silky smooth like Koncept but rotates fine with a good technique . The draft stability is impressive, it's super easy to lock down and concentrate on sailing fast.
I am really enjoying my 7.9, it matches my 70 wide slalom board perfectly and this combo gets lots of use.
So far this season Jesper has won the Mandurah marathon and placed second in the LOC , so we are confident that we have a competitive race sail.
The sizes you are talking about seem to be an Ok fit to fill the gaps in your quiver. The gap from 6.3 to 7.8 does seem a bit large but should work for a guy of your size as you should get good top end out of your 7.8 and the 6.3 has a good bottom end.
I hope I have helped.

I sail Koncepts and I love them. Plenty of power but a narrow luff sleeve, so easy to waterstart. On the right mast rotation is so easy.
I have seen Jesper and Stevio sailing together, both excellent sailors, one on KA race and one on Koncept.
Jesper will give you more details but in case you want a quick reply, the performance of both seems similar across the wind, the Koncept is better off the wind and the race better upwind.
So get a Koncept if you are into speedsailing with downwind runs, otherwise KA race.
