I could get a new (that is, not used) KA 2015 carbon boom (150-200) at a very reasonable price.
Anyone out there who has tried them and can give me advice on them? How well do they work? How durable are they? Any flaws?

They are fine....made in the Aeron factory.....I haven't broken one yet. Bugger, now I have jinx myself.

Good booms. Had a KA wave sailing reduced diameter boom and reg diameter KA slalom boom, both 100% carbon, since 2014. I am 92kg and can confirm they are pretty stiff and robust with me hanging off them under load.
