What a brilliant and versatlie board this is!!!!!!

We have been teaching our 10/11 yo on it and she loves it, she says it's stable and she loves not falling in!! It comes with 2 fin positions the normal rear and a centre fin position. With 2 fins it, it is a stable platform, with directional forward movement and has minimal sideways drift when using kiddies sails. It also has multiple footstrap positions so when the kiddies are ready you can try a variety of positions. It also has a rubbersied deck for board protection. So kiddies learn quickly and gain confidence.

Take the centre fin out, put the footstraps into their outboard positions and boogie, this board has speed, manouvreability, and I had it out in waves at Corro's and it jumped really well, and take the foot out of the back footstrap and you can ride the waves like a Mal!!!

Highly Recommended as an allround family board!!!!!!!!!!!

I can back Hardie up in his praise for the Young Gun. Great for the kids and also works for those of us that are slightly older.

I find it very easy to sail - planes early and easily, gybes nicely and can carry quite big sails (as it is wide - 73cm). I have used it as a light wind board (I am <70kg). Can't vouch for the jumping ability as when I bought the board it was suggested that it may not be as strong as a regular board, though it is based on one of the JP freestyle boards so could be OK (and Hardie appears to have proven the strength of them). I too have sailed one at Corros. Had a pleasant light wind sail in with a couple of dolphins (I convinced myself that they were dolphins).

As I seem to have doubled up with kids gear, mine could be for sale to the right home (just don't tell my youngest as she thinks that it is her board!). I could probably organise a good kids rig to go with it, if required). PM me if interested (sorry for hi-jacking the thread Hardie).
