Im a 75kg 60ft sailor.
Rode the board in onshore swinging side shore in a gusty 25-35knots with a FLY2 5.1m
The board at first rides short, well it is but it felt really short.
With a huge double concave to concave tail it took a while to get moving but once up and rolling it was dream.
Nose landing tails landings and bump jumping was a dream.
And then i gybed and rode it back in.
On waves the thing rips.
onshore wave riding is a challenge at the best of times and this board is made for it.
bottom turns on a dime and hits the lip with power, no worries.
if anyone is contemplating buying this board, id say:::
its not for everyone, if you want a board that rides everything get a FSW or single thruster but if you want a wave ripping machine, then get this.
consider riding a larger size too.
you dont feel that extra volume.
enjoy
My 74 twinser quad should be on my doorstep on monday. Ordered from SHQ Boardsports in Melbourne. Looking forward to riding the waves with the quad setup. Bring on the North easters.
Had the 74 quad out in 20kt North easter at North Entrance today. Not much in the way of waves 1/2 feet. Board feels great for my 67kg. Very stable when underpowered and plenty of volume for me. Turns on a dime and heads up wind with ease. the couple of small waves i got felt great. A real joy to ride compared to my old real world wave 84.
