Length: 234 cm /7'8"
Width: 60 cm /23.6"
Volume: 94 liters
Weight ?6% 5.3 kg/11.7 lbs

After giving back the 84L version, I've been playing with the 94L.

What I learnt from the 84 made understanding the set up of this board easy and by the end of the first session all was sweet.

The 94 for me with the extra width and volume allowed me to get up and going easier and stayed on the plane even more, making it a much more versatile board (for my weight) with a better wind range.

The board still has the same brilliant turn of acceleration. Upwind and downwind performance was all very easy and quite surprising seeing how wider range it had when looking at GPS tracks.

Unfortunately the chop has only been around 30cm (max) so I haven't really tested this but for this size it just glided over it easily.

Best part is that this board has allowed me to raise the bar on a few GPS PB's so I'm well happy.

Alby,
How does it compare to the SX?

My SX is still about 10L larger than the JP so still not a true comparison.

I think the the JP possibly has a better top end, but I think the SX will handle the rough stuff better.

Admittedly I haven't taken the JP out on the ocean in some of the conditions which I took out my SX, a bit concerned about Elmoing a loan board.

I also haven't run the SX down our speed run properly yet so I haven't any concrete figures just gut feel.

In a choice between the 2 and just because I know what my SX can do and what it is capable of, I would stick with the SX, it's a pure pleasure to ride in pretty much all conditions. But the JP is still very nice.
